A message from Friends of Gowerton Primary: Hello and welcome back to another academic year! We are kickstarting our year with restarting our '100 Club' and would love you to join. A letter and form will be coming home with your child with all of the details, but you can also see the electronic copy attached (please note that based on feedback we have added the option of you sending money via bank transfer this time as well as submitting your completed form to us by email).

On top of this we have successfully registered with Asda's new 'Cashpot for Schools' scheme, but now we need all our friends and family to sign up to it. All you have to do is, opt in through the Asda Rewards app, choose our primary school (postcode: SA4 3GE), shop and scan the app in store or shop online at Asda.com, between 2nd September and 30th November 2024. Asda will then give us 0.05% of the value of every shop. This does not affect your own Cashpot, so you will not lose out! For every person that chooses the school we also get an additional £1 regardless of whether they spend anything. Please see flyer attached for more info.

We will be holding our AGM on Wednesday 18th Sept at 2:15pm in the Community Room at school. Everyone is welcome to attend, so please do come along - there will be free tea and biscuits! We are a friendly bunch who are keen to raise as much money as possible to put towards equipment, resources and opportunities for the children at Gowerton Primary. Last year we ran a number of events and fundraising initiatives, raising over £4000 and allowing us to purchase new picnic benches, parasols, PE equipment, outdoor games, classroom supplies and stationery. We are always after new ideas on how to raise these valuable funds, so please do get in touch if you would like to help us or have suggestions for future fundraising events.
